The project combines an EU-wide survey with interviews, case studies, photovoice, and expert workshops, bringing together people with lived experience, athletes, coaches, sport organisations, and policymakers.

By generating robust evidence and co-developing practical tools, VISTA aims to improve policy and practice and help create sporting environments in which everyone can participate safely and with dignity.

Coordinator

Gothenburg University

Responsibilities

Design of multi-country surveys and survey experiments.

Analysis of survey and experimental data.

Preparation of co-authored publications.

Funding

Funded by Horizon Europe.

Project size

33 000 000 SEK

Project period

2026 - 2029
